Our Story

Denville Pizzeria & Restaurant has been family owned since 1976 when brother-in-laws Giovanni Battista Gambino and Gaetano Di Maggio started their partnership along with wives Anna Gambino and Rosa Di Maggio. Since then they have watched their business grow and their families, too. 

It started as an old fashioned pizza parlor that was attached to a dining room for less casual seating. Renovated in 1998, they gave the restaurant a name of it's own.: "Buon Appetito" an Italian Trattoria, which means "Eat Well".  The restaurant gives you a sense of being at an outside restaurant in Sicily. 

After 40 + years Denville Pizzeria still gives you that warm family feeling while offering you tasteful dishes and a variety of toppings for the fresh pizza. Sometimes Nonna will make her famous cookies and bring them to the pizzeria. If you see her make sure to say Ciao and grab a bag!
